This mission is governed by the leadership of God’s Holy Spirit in all things and an unwavering commitment to His Word as the only authority for faith and practice.
- We believe in the One True Living Creator Father God of the Bible Who has revealed Himself to mankind as the Triune God, the Only Most High God.
- We believe in Jesus Christ the Only Son of God Who is the second Person of the Trinity and while on earth was fully God and fully Human, crucified for our sin and raised again Who now sits at the right hand of God, interceding for believers and waiting for the summation of human history in Father God’s good time.
- We believe in Holy Spirit Who is the third person of the Trinity Who convicts of sin, inhabits those who believe, and gifts for ministry.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for salvation and people without personal faith in Him are lost and without hope.
- We believe in and are committed to obedience to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His Word. We commit to living a life of personal holiness in imitation of Jesus Christ and bringing glory to God the Father in everything we do, by the power of Holy Spirit.
- We seek to provide the peoples of Southeast Asia an opportunity to hear, understand and respond to the Gospel in their own cultural context, especially those who have never had any opportunity to hear it (UUPG’s). Because all mankind is under the curse of sin and need to be freed through salvation in Jesus Christ.
- We believe the Gospel itself is cross-cultural and not limited by culture and can be believed by all mankind regardless of who they are, where they live or their language/cultural/religious background. And that it is received by grace through faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the cross alone and not by works.
- We serve the Lord in Holy Spirit’s gifting through evangelism, discipleship and ministry as He leads that results in planting vibrant reproducing churches.
- We are willing to serve churches to facilitate their involvement in the Great Commission and in fulfilling the vision and mission of Southeast Asia Opportunities.
- We are willing and able to partner with other Believers around the world as Holy Spirit leads and enables those partnerships.
- We will always seek to understand and fulfill God’s mission through prayer, the leadership of Holy Spirit and His Holy Word.
- We will, under Holy Spirit’s leadership seek to lead/teach all new believers and all churches planted to believe all that is stated here.
